ACCOMODATION AND VENUE
The University of Malta does not have on-site Halls of Residence and the BILETA 2006 is therefore being organised in a Hotel/Conference Centre venue. This is also in response to feed-back from delegates who find that it avoids daily travel time and is far more convenient all round.
Log in to http://www.oracleconference.com.mt to check out the BILETA 2006 Conference venue. The Oracle Conference Centre, which has been reserved for BILETA 2006 is situated within the Dolmen complex http://www.dolmen.com.mt to ensure maximum convenience for conference delegates.

FOUR-STAR FACILITIES AT UK UNIVERSITY RESIDENCE PRICES
Beautifully located at the water's edge, the 4 star Dolmen hotel has panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and St. Paul 's Islands. All bedrooms and suites have been refurbished during the past 18 months and are fully air-conditioned, centrally heated with their own private bathroom, safe deposit box, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, radio, mini-bar and hair dryers. The majority of the rooms have a balcony or terrace, many of which with sea views.
The hotel's general facilities include a conference Centre, a Casino, an A La Carte Restaurant, Buffet Restaurant, Piano Cocktail Bar, Cafe (open 24hrs), Swim-Up Bar, Night Club and a Caribbean Style Beach Club offering a variety of water-sports, a Diving Centre, Bars and Restaurant.
Four outdoor swimming pools are located within the hotel together with one dedicated for children. The newly designed Spa incorporates state of the art Therapy rooms with the latest equipment as well as a Fitness Room, Indoor Pool with hydro massage and sauna. Within the hotels' garden two tennis courts are available.
We have negotiated very special rates for the conference participants-in summary a four-star hotel room for a cost comparable to that normally paid by BILETA participants for an en-suite University residence room in the UK. For those delegates who wish to take advantage of the Easter vacation we have also negotiated even cheaper rates for stays longer than 6 nights. If you plan to get family or friends along just let us know and we shall be happy to help you with the arrangements.
Applications after the 18th March 2006 date cannot be allocated rooms in the Dolmen Hotel and late applicants will have to arrange their own accommodation. There is a limit to the Dolmen accommodation available, and this will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We are unable to offer accommodation for only one night.
